Fabric Handbags Are Smart and Economical

!: Fabric Handbags Are Smart and Economical

It wasn't so long ago when women were spending over 0 for a purse and not giving it a second thought. A lot of these bags were the trend and were made from leather and canvas with little "C's" or "G's" all over it and typically monochromatic or with just a few base colors. That fad has come and gone. Women always want the best for their money, but spending that kind of money these days is hard to swallow. So what's a girl to do?

The answer is to start looking at handbags from new and different materials. One of the new trends is to use cotton or nylon as the base material as the base for handbags. There are five points to consider when thinking about shopping for a new handbag and why not to purchase a leather bag.

First and most importantly is that this type of purse is approximately a quarter of the price. No longer do you have to spend big bucks, you can now find great styles for less than hundred dollars. That's a big difference and will allow you spend the rest of your money on other accessories.

Secondly, fabric handbags are machine washable. How many times have you spilled something on your bag and never been able to get the stain out? We've all experience this and wanted to cry remembering how much money we spent of that other type of purse. These bags can be thrown in the washer and then touched up with an iron and they'll look brand new.

Thirdly, fabric handbags have far more options to style and color than leather or canvas purses. That's because fabric can take on any color, or screen print providing the designer an endless amount of options to choose from. Whereas leather can only be dyed and normally just one color. This allows for much more modern styles than older methods used by major manufacturers. Also, with all of the colors the fabric can take on it's much easier to match and complement your outfit that you're going to wear for the day.

Forth, fabric is much more humane to animals. With fabric an animal doesn't have to lose its life just so we can use it hide. No matter where you are on the animal rights, when given the choice between using an animal or not, I think most of us would choose the life of the animal when there are substitutes that can be found. Lastly, many of the designers are now eco friendly as well using recycled materials from junk yards, thrift shops, and second hand stores. Some designers are even using parts out of old cars, like the headlines or seat belts as the base material for their bags. Not only are these material eco friendly, they are cheap or even free. This saves our landfills and allow you to go green everywhere you go.

These are just a few reasons why fabric handbags are a smart choice compared to leather or canvas. When you consider price, color, style, animal and eco friendly, it's a no brainer that women are now headed in a direction that is reflective of our values in the 21st century.

Coach Totes And Coach Signature Stripe Handbags - The All-In-One Bags

!: Coach Totes And Coach Signature Stripe Handbags - The All-In-One Bags

Coach Totes and Coach Signature Stripe handbags are carefully one of the most popular of the Coach bags to date. With more and more items needing to be carried nearby at one time, it makes sense for women to opt to carry the larger handbags than the smaller ones.

With Coach Totes and Coach Signature Stripe handbags, you never have to worry about not having sufficient room in your bag to carry nearby all of your personal items as well as needed items for places you are headed to.

Now-a-days, with more women going to work outside of the home, it is vital for women to have a handbag that will take them into every situation without having to worry about changing or needing an additional one bag to carry what the first could not. The Tote is exquisite for just this situation. You can carry just about anyone in a Coach Tote. With the largest sized bag being 15" in length and 13 ¼" in height, it makes a work bag, voyage bag or even a diaper bag. It can be your all-in-one handbag. That is what I call mine. I have sufficient room to pull all kinds of stuff out of it.

The Coach Signature Stripe is just as functional as the Tote. Actually, the most popular of the Signature Stripe is the tote. Most of Coach's Signature Stripe's are totes. They also make the stripe in the smaller purse sized bags like the hobo and the swing pack. The Signature Stripe has many distinct styles and designs to select from. There are the scarf print, denim, the multipurpose, and the New! Reversible totes. There is also a reversible voyage bag with the signature stripe. I love the reversible bags. It's like having two bags for the price of one.

The Signature Stripe and the Tote bags are made very similar, but both have their individuality to them. The Tote used to only be made of Coach's signature leathers, but are now made with other materials like suede and patent leathers. And, instead of just having the shoulder totes, they have made a new line of gallery totes that are available in solid colors or the signature pattern in brown or black. The Signature Stripes are made with iconic signature leather fabrics with the stripe made of leather trimming.

The only real benefit of owning the Signature Stripe that you won't have with just the Tote is the capability to have your initials printed in the stripe of the bag. This specialty is new this year and has already been a hot new highlight for the handbag. If you are lucky to have a short name like Pam or Kim, you can get your full first name added to your bag, free of charge. How cool is that!

Speaking of costs, the Coach Tote goes for 8-8 where as the Coach Signature Stripe handbags range from 8 for the small swing pack to 8 for the multipurpose bag.

With two great handbags to select from that offer you so much usage, it will be hard not to say, "I'll just take them both."
